Four seasons.
One Idea.
It started at university snowsports and grew across four winter seasons in the Alps. The community, the mountains, and somewhere in France, a tiny caffeine sachet that everyone loved. The question posed istself: why isn't this in the UK? Turns out UK food law didn't allow it. So we didn't import it. We built something better.
The idea
takes shape.
The decision was made. Build a better version: healthier ingredients, better flavours, made for the UK market. Not a copy. A product that would genuinely work with UK festival culture.
Establishing
The Identity.
Initial artwork concepts hatched. Meeting after meeting with UK suppliers every day after work. The goal: find someone who could produce the memorable flat sachet that would become BUZZD's identity. We found them.
First samples.
New Year's Eve.
The very first BUZZD samples arrived. The first group tastings happened on New Year's Eve and we had a blast. Not perfect yet, but you could feel it. Something was there.
Second samples.
Nailed it.
Back to the drawing board on the formula. Dialled up the fizz, refined the flavours. The second round of samples hit the nail on the head. This was BUZZD.
Built from
the mountains.
Eight weeks in the Alps. Business registrations, artwork development, supplier management all handled between ski runs and après. Meetings on mountain time. Artwork approvals from an apartment. BUZZD was being built in the environment it was made for.
Stock lands.
Website built.
First stock arrived. The website was built with a view of the sea in Cornwall. BUZZD went from idea to real, physical product ready to go.
NUCO Ball.
First event.
First event. The NUCO Ball celebrating the end of the ski season with the snowsports community that started all of this. What a year it's been. This is just the beginning.
